Close to the work

Flourish is a small, founder-led K-12 consulting and professional-learning practice. The people responsible for understanding a need remain close to the design, facilitation, synthesis, and follow-through that support it.

Our work joins questions about learner experience with questions about educator practice and the systems that make implementation possible. The aim is to help education teams see a useful next step without overstating what any short engagement can accomplish.

In Fall 2022, Dr. Ann Hart received a “Certificate of Appreciation” from the Multnomah County Partnership for Education Research for dedicated research on Math Curriculum Implementation.

Dr. Ann Hart

Dr. Ann Hart is the Founder of Flourish Educational Consulting, where she specializes in STEM education and neuroeducation. She holds a Doctorate of Education in Learning and Leading from the University of Portland, where her doctoral research examined the resilience and thriving of female secondary STEM educators after the COVID-19 pandemic. With a rich background spanning over a decade as an educator and school administrator, Dr. Hart now collaborates with educational communities to translate neuroeducational research into actionable, empowering strategies for the modern classroom.
